SCYO is a research-led architecture practice established by Sharona Cramer and Yotam Oron in 2020

Sharona Cramer

Sharona is an architect based in Tel Aviv and New York. She has worked at leading architecture firms in Tel Aviv, managing projects of various scales, including the winning proposal for the Mikve Israel new school campus at StudioPEZ.

She earned her B.Arch with honors from the Bezalel Academy of Arts, graduating first in her class, and was awarded the 2020 Azrieli Foundation Prize for her graduation project, Dead Space.

 

From 2021 to 2023, she was a founding team member and studio tutor at the Negev School of Architecture in Beer Sheva.

Sharona is currently an M.Arch candidate in the post-professional program at the Yale School of Architecture, where she also serves as a teaching fellow.

Yotam Oron

Yotam is an architect based in Tel Aviv and New York. He has worked at leading architecture firms in Tel Aviv, leading projects of various scales and stages. His work extends into architectural research, including collaborations with Prof. Arch. Michael Turner, UNESCO Chair.

He earned his B.Arch with honors from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and was awarded the Azrieli Foundation Prize for his graduation project, Dead Space. Yotam is a recipient of the 'Joseph Vaada Bolafio Prize' for outstanding excellence in his History and Theory studies at Bezalel.

 

Yotam is currently pursuing his M.Arch II at the Yale School of Architecture, where he serves as teaching fellow.
